The Paulding County Engineer’s Office provides maintenance and engineer services for approximately 329 miles of County Roads, 209 bridges and numerous partitioned ditches. A full-time work force of 18 is located at the County Garage and the Court House.
NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING
The Paulding County Engineer’s Office has an immediate opening for a full time/permanent Highway Maintenance Worker. The responsibilities of this job include maintenance activities on county highways and bridges along with operating snow and ice removal equipment.
This position is eligible for health, dental and vision insurance. An Ohio Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement or the ability to obtain this license within 180 days is required for this position. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. The starting wage rate for this position shall be pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
